Lujaina Mohsin Darwish draws her business acumen from her father and mentor, late Mohsin Haider Darwish, the pioneering founder of one of the Sultanate’s largest enterprises, MHD LLC.
Throughout her career Hon. Lujaina Mohsin Darwish has led with a “people first” approach – first, as a lecturer at the prestigious Sultan Qaboos University; then, as the head of the human resources development function; and presently, as Chairperson of a group of companies.
Her people-focussed philosophy has contributed significantly to the strengthening and growing the MHD brand; helping build loyal customers, develop exceptional talent, and create enduring partnerships with some of the world’s premier brands.
In 2021, MHD LLC announced its renewed focus on growth, diversification and expansion into new markets with a strategic bifurcation into two clusters, consisting of Infrastructure, Technology, Industrial & Consumer Solutions (MHD ITICS), and Automotive, Construction Equipment and Renewable Energy (MHD ACERE).
As Chairperson of MHD ITICS, Hon. Lujaina Mohsin Darwish continues the legacy of contributing to business growth – and adding value to the Sultanate’s economy – by harnessing synergies, developing greater agility and seizing new market opportunities.
